We regret to inform you that James Michael Morris of Lewisburg, TN was born on January 29, 1961. He was the son of the late Lacy Mai Morris. He was called home to glory on Friday, August 23, 2024.

James was full of life and always saying something crazy to make you laugh. He loved music and fishing. James Michael had a loving and caring heart and would give you the shirt off his back and he didn't mind hustling to give you that shirt (LOL). James Michael's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In addition to his Mother Lacy Mai, James was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty James and Thelma Jones; and three brothers: Edward/Donnie Brown, Keith Hill, and Jasper Hill.

James leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted daughter Katrina Stewart/Porkey, one son Michael Stewart, five grandchildren: Cordelia Stewart, Isiah Stewart, Ziyon Stewart, LaMya Stewart, Malla Bolt and four great-grandchildren: Harmonii Carr, Rian Stewart, Nevaeh Wilson, Aamirah Wilson; ten sisters: Donna Lyles, Gwendolyn Carmichael, Barbara Ewing, Sarah (Don) Layhew, Sherleen Harris, Marzell Hill, Twanna Hill, Jackie Gentry, Valeri O'Neal and LaTashia O'Neal; four brothers: Timmy Hill, Charles (Patsy) Hill, Kenneth (Shantell) Hill and Timmy O'Neal; one aunt Jane Allen, one uncle J.W. (Sally) Allen, devoted friend Ray Ussery, two devoted nephews: Jikinte Morris, Demerial Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Please keep the family of James Michael Morris in your thoughts and prayers.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Family Life Center, 426 Heil Quaker Ave. Lewisburg. Min. Anthony (Bam) Haislip will deliver the Eulogy.
