Gwendolyn Ann Morris-Carmichael was born in Lewisburg on July 25,1958 to the late Lacy Mai Morris and Leroy Jones. She was called Home to Glory on June 26, 2025. Gwen gave her life to Christ at an early age. Gwen was full of life and always saying something crazy to make you laugh. She always kept up with the latest news in Lewisburg and she did it from her front porch (LOL). She loved to read and she enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren is all sports. Gwen was a light and she will be Truly Missed by ALL who Loved her.

In addition to her Mother Lacy Mai Morris and her father Leroy Jones; Gwen was preceded in death by one daughter Priscilla Dyshelle Morris-Myles; two sisters: Betty Lou Jones and Thelma Louise Jones two brothers; Edward/Donnie Brown and James Michael Morris.

Gwen leaves to Cherish her Memories two Loving and Devoted daughters; Alissa Morris and Jillian Morris, two sons; Jerry Johnson and Jikinte Morris, fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, six sisters; Donna Lyles, Barbara Ewing, Sarah (Donald) Layhew, Gladys Davis, Tauheedah-Rahim(Abul-Aaka Reem) and Sherleen Harris, one brother;

James (Sarah)Lyttle, one aunt; Jane Allen, one uncle;

JW (Sally) Allen, and a host of Loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Gwen touched the lives of many, and her Spirit will live on.
