We regret to inform you that Casey Lee Jones, age 65, of Wheel in Marshall County passed on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was an active member and a Deacon at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, watching baseball games, landscaping, and spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Avis Jones, three daughters: LaWanda Henderson, Shonda Jones, and Angelica Jones; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be immeasurably missed and remembered with loving affection.

Casey Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eva Jones, and one brother David Jones.

Viewing and Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 11th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church, 4011 Nashville Highway, Lewisburg, Tennessee. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel M.B. Church. Pastor David McConnell will deliver the Eulogy. The Interment will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221.
