Carl Dennis Foxx of Lewisburg, Tennessee was born May 24, 1962, in Marshall County. Dennis was the 9th child to the late Joe Henry Foxx and Truly Mai Holman Foxx. Dennis departed this life on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Murfreesboro, TN.

Dennis received his education in the Lincoln County School System in the class of 1981. After high school he became a meat cutter, maintenance man and worked on lawnmowers. During this time of Dennis life, he joined in marriage on August 6, 2005, to Shana Foxx as the join their family to be a big family.

Dennis had an infectious personality and never met a stranger. He loved fishing, hunting, and grilling but most of all he loved Nascar and spending time with his brothers and sisters at the Big Family gatherings.

Dennis is proceeded in death by his parents Truly Mai Holman Foxx and Joe Henry Foxx; Brothers Grover Foxx, Bobby Foxx, Andy Foxx, and Robert Lee Holman.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memories his wife Shana Foxx; Seven children Joe (Angie) Greer, Ricardo Greer, Karla Foxx, Kenneth Foxx, Dawn Clark, Alix Foxx, Krimsonn (Ashley Cleek) Foxx; Two sisters Annie (Sally-J.W.) Allen, Mattie Greer Robinson; Four Brothers Calvin (Lela) Foxx, Willie M. Foxx, Ricky (Betty) Foxx, Timmy (Amy) Foxx; Thirteen grandchildren; Devoted niece Elaine Foxx; Devoted Friend Shelia Hill.
